As much as I hate Adam Lambert, frankly speaking I think he deserves to be crowned the next American Idol. He deserves it 77.777%. I am judging this based on their much anticipated performance yesterday.
But the darkest horse of all emerged as the champion, Kris Allen. The judges did not give their standing ovation like the one given to Adam last time, and even Kris Allen was still in the state of denial when the result was announced. Too humble I guess.
After all the two of them are the best competitors we have had so far compared to David Archuleta and David Cook of last season.
I honestly think America's Danny Gokey fans, who possibly defected to Kris's side after Gokey left and effectively bridged that million-vote gap between Adam and Kris.
But don't you think Adam is the most overrated Idol of all time?

logical reason why adam lost- the conservative americans did not vote for him since he's rumored to be gay, plus he's a rocker. not exactly what they want.
but yeah, if it were based on the ENTIRE season, adam shuld win. he did not,not have a gud performance at all.
but i'd say kris deserves it too, the hell he does, only perhaps adam deserves it more.
and y is adam overrated? NO!

a) david cook's performance was touching, he must have thought abt his late brother while singing it.

c) the part where they introduced the judges- esp randy's : for me for u for me. LOL

abt tatiana tu, do u think it was all staged ke tak? bcos they suddenly cut to commercial break at that time. haha
oh did u notice that after the results were announced, kris macam speechless n slumber gile je. but THEN when his WIFE (yes girls, to those who dont know) came on stage and gave him a hug, he started to cry.
damn that girl must think she's the luckiest girl in america at the mo- and i think she is! LOL

i don't think the gay factor would lead to the downfall of voters on his side, i think more to voters switching site from gokey's to kris's
anyway if you see adam's performance, he's very versatile ( i hate to admit it) but too much of a rock star attitude. americans already have david cook, so why they need another david cook while they can have another archuleta of matured age?
but definitely adam will be like chris daughtry, not a winner but can be a sell out artist. after all since chris is the champion, he has to stick with his orginal single, which i think doesn't really much suit with his own tune
point taken. it's a clean sweep for the entire season but 2/3 performance in the final, simon's choice was him. and chris only took one. so that's why adam was entitled 66.666% votes ( err not 77.77% wrong calculation ;P)
come on lah adam is overrated giler, i think majority agree with me.
but simone should salute chris by standing like the rest of judges did at least and not sitting there to show his denial of adam's lost. if you notice that one too.
i dunno lah bout tatiana, but ryan said more surprises to come, so that one was not to be excluded perhaps?
